Welcome to the Gopherdon public beta! Let’s walk you through how to set up your account.

Creating an account

First, head to Gopherdon’s website (https://mastodon.goucher.edu):

In the registration box, create your user account:

• Username must be equivalent to that of your Goucher email address, sans “@goucher.edu”
• Email must be your Goucher email address
• Password should be your Goucher password, but is not mandatory

Be sure to also read the Terms of Service before signing up for the beta!

If the registration is successful, you will receive an email from Gopherdon to confirm your account. Follow the instructions in the email to finalize your Gopherdon account.

Install some apps!

If your account has been created and confirmed, congratulations! Now you can use the interface on the website or use other apps with your new Gopherdon account.

We highly recommend taking a look at our official desktop apps, but you can also download and install any Mastodon-compatible app that you choose.

If something goes wrong

If you do encounter an issue where the account isn’t being confirmed or you can’t create your account, email gopherdonapp@outlook.com or marquis.kurt@goucher.edu. We’ll take a look into the issue and help you create your account.
